The Swiss Snow League has been further developed to better meet the needs of children, parents, and snow sports instructors. Its goal remains unchanged: to provide a consistent, high-quality snow sports education throughout Switzerland.
The updated concept now focuses on three key areas:
- I can – the defined learning objectives and level achievements
- I discover – exploring new skills through playful learning
- I know – knowledge about snow sports
Most levels remain unchanged. Adjustments have only been made to some of the higher levels:
- Ski Black Prince/Princess → Academy Rookie
- Snowboard Red Prince/Princess, King/Queen and Star → Red Academy
What does this mean for my child?
For most children, nothing changes when they start the new program. They will generally remain in the same level as before, making the transition to the new Swiss Snow League simple and straightforward.
The new Swiss Snow League combines proven learning content with greater flexibility, more engaging experiences, and even more enjoyment of snow sports.
Information: For the Hexli and Geissli groups, please print out the confirmation and place it in your child's jacket pocket. For all other offers, a digital confirmation is sufficient (PDF via email or confirmation in the customer portal).

Hexligruppe
Hexligruppe, for children aged 3 to 4 years old (2.5 hours)
For all young beginners. In groups, your child will take their first steps and attempts at skiing on snow, learning to brake and turn playfully. The course lasts 2.5 hours.
All children will participate in the ski race on Friday. Course starts only on Mondays.
Morning courses: Monday to Friday from 10:30-13:00.
Afternoon courses: Monday to Friday from 13:30-16:00 (only during high season)

Geissligruppe
ab 4 Jahren (3 Stunden)
For all beginners. Together with friends, your child will learn how to ski playfully, brake, and perform tricks.

From braking to plow turn. By observing the ski instructor and the other children and through exercises that promote skill, balance, and technique, the children learn step by step various types of turns and tricks. Showing what they have learned at the ski race and standing on the podium at the end of the week is the greatest achievement.

Parallel turn, switch riding, waltz, jumps, snow park, one-footed turns, and short turns are foreign words to you? Then join the Red League. Learn great turns and tricks with your ski instructor. Individual coaching and practicing together are the focus here. Show your skills at the ski race and with a little luck, you'll stand on the podium on Friday.

The Swiss Snow Academy is the next stage of training after successfully completing the Blue League and Red League. By joining the Swiss Snow Academy, children take the next step toward becoming versatile skiers while enjoying unlimited fun on the snow.
The Swiss Snow Academy is divided into Academy Rookie (formerly Black Prince/Princess) and Academy.
In the Academy Rookie level, children further develop their skiing technique in more challenging situations. They learn short turns using poles on steeper slopes, practice carving turns on wide and easy pistes, and confidently perform parallel turns even in ungroomed snow.
Previously acquired skills are further refined and expanded. The program includes freeride, freestyle, and racing. Boxes and rails, airs, jumps, tricks, turns, and powder skiing provide exciting and varied snow sports experiences. Safety, fun, and continuous learning are always the main focus. Of course, ski races and a prize-giving ceremony are also part of the experience.

Vom Beginner zum Experten!
In the Swiss Snow League, you will learn skiing from scratch. As a beginner, you will learn the basics of skiing in the Blue League, which you will then solidify in the Red League to ultimately become an expert in the Black League.
Professional ski instructors will teach you and record your progress in your personal booklet and now also online in the customer portal. This way, you will always be assigned to the correct league in every Swiss ski and snowboard school. And at the end of each course, you will earn the corresponding pin!
Age: from about 4-5 years old.
